Western Sydney University

At Western Sydney University’s Faculty of Health, we believe better health creates stronger communities, and meaningful change happens when we work together.

Bringing together the Schools of Medicine, Health Sciences, Nursing and Midwifery, and Psychology, the Faculty is a vibrant, interdisciplinary community for education, research, innovation and impact. With more than 14,000 students and 500 staff, we reflect the diversity, ambition and potential of Western Sydney.  United by the values and global reputation of Western Sydney University, we are committed to excellence, equity, innovation and creating opportunities that transform lives and communities.

We prepare future health professionals through contemporary education, practical learning and strong connections with health services, industry and community. Our graduates develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to lead and contribute to a rapidly evolving health sector, both across Australia and around the world.

Our research tackles complex health challenges, from prevention and care to health equity and workforce sustainability. By working alongside communities, government, industry and health partners, we turn ideas into practical solutions grounded in local needs, with impact across Australia and globally.

We aspire to be a Faculty without boundaries, inclusive, innovative and collaborative. Together, we are shaping healthier futures, strengthening communities and creating a health workforce ready to meet the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow.
