Liverpool Local Active Partnership

Building on the momentum of WSYD Moving’s launch as a charity at the WSYD Moving Symposium in November 2024, we convened our first Local Active Partnership meeting in Liverpool in December 2024. Partners committing to bi-monthly, in-person meetings to sustain the collaborative effort.

Who should attend?

Community, voluntary organisations, health professionals, leisure operators, community activity providers, primary care, sport bodies, academia, and other health networks.

The sessions will be facilitated by:

  • WSYD Moving

  • South Western Sydney Local Health District

How

Convene a Liverpool Local Active Partnership in partnership with Liverpool City Council and South Western Sydney Local Health District building local networks, relationship and trust.

Working collaboratively to create the conditions to enable active lifestyles through movement, physical activity through a place-based approach.

Stakeholders include voluntary, sector bodies, public health teams, leisure operators, community activity providers, primary care, sport, academia and other health networks.
