WSLHD is responsible for the healthcare of residents in the Blacktown, Cumberland, Parramatta, and The Hills Local Government Areas, with an estimated resident population of 1,053,000.   

The District’s strategic vision is to be a trusted partner with our community to make Western Sydney the healthiest place to live in NSW. WSLHD is invested in keeping the people of western Sydney healthy – now and in the future.

More specifically, WSLHD Centre for Population Health seeks to improve the health and wellbeing at a population level across our District while ensuring health outcomes are achieved fairly across our communities. We do this by working in partnership to shape our environments in ways that make healthy choices easier to support better health and wellbeing.
