Roger Lay
Mr Roger Lay is a Project Officer with the Multicultural Program, Office of the Chief Executive, at Cancer Institute NSW. His current role serves to reduce the inequities in cancer outcomes experienced by culturally and racially marginalised communities across the state.
He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy and a Master of Public Health in specialising in Chronic Disease Prevention, both from the University of Sydney.
Roger has a professional background in clinical physiotherapy, public health, chronic disease prevention, and multicultural health programmes.
He has worked across the private, public, and university sectors. Roger has a passion for improving physical activity participation, as a leader in the Physical Activity in Healthcare SIG of the Asia-Pacific Society for Physical Activity.
