Paul Power
As CEO of Refugee Council of Australia (RCOA) since 2006 and Co-CEO since 2026, Paul Power has led Australia’s umbrella body on refugee policy and served on national and international bodies on refugee issues.
Since March 2026, he has been leading Sanctuary Runners Australia, a new volunteer network connecting recently arrived refugees, migrants and Australians of all backgrounds through running and walking. This initiative is based on the Sanctuary Runners movement which started in Ireland since 2018.
