Professor Melody Ding

Melody Ding is a professor at the Prevention Research Collaboration within the Sydney School of Public Health at the University of Sydney. She dedicates her research across a broad spectrum of unique yet interrelated topics including physical activity, social wellbeing, behavioural epidemiology and chronic disease prevention.

A recognised leader in her field, she has received numerous awards including the Eureka Prize for Emerging Leader in Science and the Ministerial Award for Rising Stars in Cardiovascular Research. Her work has informed policies, guidelines and practices, and has received extensive media coverage around the world.
