Dr Yvonne Laird is a Lecturer in Prevention and Health Promotion at the University of Sydney, based in the Prevention Research Collaboration. Her research focuses on the role of public engagement in research and prevention of chronic disease, conducted in close partnership with policy and practice stakeholders. Yvonne aims to build capacity in public engagement to improve public health outcomes and coordinates a Community of Practice on citizen science in chronic disease prevention.
